Aaryan Dinesh Kanagarathnam is also known as ADK or simply as Dinesh Kanagarathnam. ADK is a famous hip-hop Rhythm and blues performer who has written songs in Tamil. He was born in Badulla, Sri Lanka, later he moved to Trichy, TamilNadu for his higher education. After completing his studies, he went back to SriLanka and held IT coaching while working as a designing expert.

He started his career as working with local artists on a part-time basis, that is foster his growing interest in music. In 2004, he started recording rap tracks was given an opportunity by Bathiya, until he was discovered by Vijay Antony. He also often collaborates with music directors in Tamil & Telugu Industry.

ADK worked with Vijay Antony on the song “Aathichudi”. His subsequent film part was “Magudi” which was first time working with A R Rahman. He featured with Santhosh Narayanan composed Song ” Mun Sellada” from the movie of Manithan.

ADK also scored music along with his music partner Charles Bosco for the film ’18 Vayasu’ starring the ‘Renigunta’ fame jhony. He continued to featured with Tamil and Telugu films, composing and rapping english, sinhala languages.

ADK has taken part in numerous concert tours across SriLanka, Malaysia, Singapore, London, Canada, India. He is a well-Known celebrity after his blockbuster hits songs of ‘Aathichudi’, ‘Kuruvi’, ‘Suraangani’, ‘Magudi’ and ‘Nagaraveytai’.
